Academic Religious Studies

It's been a while since I've posted here so today I hope to have a few new items to offer. One Friday I received my second essay for REL22: Budhist Meditation Traditions in the post. I received another HD. I'm beginning to wonder if an academic study of religion is where I should focus my post-grad studies. I've never received anything less than a HD for religion and it's one of the two subjects (the other being Aisan Studies) that I've received 100% over-all.
I was wanting to focus my Honours thesis on the Philosophy of Religion with a particular emphasis on Ethics and Moral Philosophy. Perhaps exploring the relationship between the ethics of oppressions and liberation as it presents itself Gaudiya Vaisnavism. Of course, though, there is no one to supervise such a thesis. Further, I can't convince the Philosophy and Religion departments to co-supervise my thesis! This does leave me in a little bit of a pickle, although I'm sure that I'll find a solution sometime this year.
Today I'll be finalising my journal assessment for PHI350: Philosophy and Cinema and after that I'll upload all of the assessment that I've completed this semester that hasn't already been uploaded. I've been a little slack getting this done as this semester's workload has been greater than I expected. Next semester/study period should be a little smoother as I'll be on winter holidays at the University of Queensland so I'll just be taking three subjects. I'll be taking PHI320: Theories of Justice and PHI310: Philosophy and Cognitive Science via Macquarie, and REL200: Religions of the Ancient World via the University of South Australia. All of these subjects look to be quite promising.
